Seymour Duncan P-Rails HH Pickups, Standard Neck / Trembucker Bridge
Seymour Duncan Cool Rails Middle Pickup
Alpha 500K Push/Pull Pots
AxLabs 5-way Switch
PureTone Output Jack
Orange Drop Capacitor
Plastics by AxLabs
Gavitt Cloth Jacketed Wire (Red+ / Black-)
The 5-way switch works like every other Strat®, but the push/pull pots add the magic. The forward pot (the volume knob) is the master volume control and turns on the neck pickup when pulled. The allows you to combine the neck and bridge pickups as well as all three pickups depending on where you set the 5-way switch. The two tone nobs, push/pull pots, control the functionality, modes, of the P-Rails humbuckers. With both knobs pushed down, both P-Rails are in series. With both tone knobs pulled up, both P-Rails are in parallel. Alternating on knob down and the other up will give you P90 mode or single coil mode depending on which knobs are up or down.
The bottom tone knob controls the tone of the bridge pickup, while the middle tone knob controls the tone of the middle and neck pickups.
This loaded pickguard should be grounded to your guitar by utilizing the bridge ground and body ground wires that should be on your Strat® from the factory. If you're building a new guitar from scratch then you will have to source some 22 gauge ground wire.
