Where It All Began
Our founder and president, Andrew Papiccio, was one of the original owners of Kramer Guitars, helping lead the company from its inception in 1976 through its iconic rise in the 80's and into the early '90s. As VP of Manufacturing, Andy oversaw daily operations at Kramer’s Neptune, NJ facility and abroad, while working closely with many of the era’s most influential artists.
At a NAMM Show, Andy and the Kramer team crossed paths with Floyd Rose, whose revolutionary double-locking tremolo would soon redefine guitar playing. That moment sparked a partnership that endures to this day, with Floyd and Andy still at the helm of the brand.
Drawing on decades of manufacturing expertise and deep relationships with musicians and techs, we launched the AxLabs Hardware line - born from an unrelenting passion for the instrument. Under the AP International Music Supply umbrella alongside Floyd Rose, Pure Tone Jacks, and much more behind-the-scenes, we’re proud to keep building the tools behind the music of tomorrow, just like we did yesterday.
